The tests on this site are screening tools, not laboratory instruments. They are useful for spotting an obvious dead pixel, visible backlight bleed or uneven brightness, but they cannot replace a colorimeter, a calibrated reference display, or a manufacturer service check.
Warranty decisions should be based on your manufacturer's own criteria. Most makers allow a specific number of dead sub-pixels before a panel qualifies for replacement, and those thresholds differ by brand and model.
Photosensitivity. Some tests flash or cycle colours rapidly. If you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light, do not run them.
Cleaning. Never spray liquid directly onto a screen, and switch the display off before wiping it. We are not responsible for damage caused by cleaning.
